Name: Sarah Kalluk
Bio: Sarah Kalluk was born in January 10th, 1961 in Arvaaqtuuq. She moved to Arctic Bay in 1969. She lives with her husband; they have six children, four sons and two daughters. This skilled seamstress believes sewing is one of the most important skills an Inuk woman can posses, since hunters need proper clothing for all kinds of weather and seasons. She sews to provide her family with traditional clothing, namely kamiks, mitts, parkas and traditional Inuit tents, also as a pass time.
